The trio, while supportive of Jenner’s decision to transition from a man to a woman, feels that she mishandled the situation and hurt their mother, Kris Jenner, in the process.
A source close to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars, who sold the story to the media, explained that they did not appreciate the fact that the person, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, never really had an honest conversation with his ex-wife Kris. She only embarrassed her by appearing in lingerie on the cover of Vanity Fair.
According to the insider, Khloé Kardashian, who is the one most hurt by the drama, had a massive fallout with Caitlyn after the Vanity Fair article and after a Howard Stern interview where she said that Jenner was “not honest” with Kris about her transition.
The fights with little sister Khloé prompted Kim and Kourtney to cut ties with their former stepfather. Furthermore, the eldest Kardashians are very upset over the fact that Jenner never apologized for humiliating their mother. The source said:
“Kim is not as close to Caitlyn anymore; she was after she first transitioned but as things came out and Caitlyn stayed unapologetic, the relationship got more and more strained….Kim’s solidarity remains with her mom. Because of how things played out with Bruce and with Caitlyn, she is reluctant to have a serious relationship with Caitlyn.”
The insider had the following to say about the Kourtney and Bruce relationship that never actually existed in the first place.
“Kourtney who hasn’t always been the closest with Caitlyn, doesn’t really get involved.”
