Michael Flynn Calls On Deceased Iran Leader Ruhollah Khomeini To Denounce Nice Attack

Michael Flynn

No wonder Michael Flynn was not picked as Donald Trump‘s VP. Hours after the sickening attack in Nice, France, Flynn appeared on several television shows where he called for Ruhollah Khomeini, who was Iran’s Shia Muslim religious leader to step up and condemn all terrorist groups.

There is only one major problem with that statement: Khomeini, also known as Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ruhollah Mūsavi Khomeini, is dead, in fact, he died more than 27 years ago.

Mr. Khomeini was born in 1902 and had the title of Iranian Shia Muslim religious leader, he was also an author, an activist forced into exile for numerous years. In 1979, the Iranian politician led the Revolution, which saw the overthrow of the Pahlavi monarchy and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran.

Khomeini created and took on the position of Iran’s Supreme Leader, which he held until his death in 1989. Flynn, who is an adviser to Trump, was supposed to have knowledge of the information above because he is a highly decorated Lieutenant General, who was part of the United States Army from 1981 to 2014 and held many prestigious positions. Here is a brief bio:

“Michael Flynn is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who served as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, commander of the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and chair of the Military Intelligence Board from July 24, 2012, to August 2, 2014. He lead Operation Urgent Fury, Operation Uphold Democracy, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.”

On Thursday, Flynn sat down with Megyn Kelly, where he said:

“I want the Imam, or I want Khomeini in Iran to stand up and be counted.”

Flynn was on Fox & Friends Friday morning, where he called for the dead leader to take action. He stated:

“I have called out for the leaders of Iran ― Khomeini ― and the leaders of the Muslim world to denounce the attack. I can tick them off if you want, there’s a bunch of countries with a bunch of so-called leaders.”

Thus far, it has not been proven that Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, who murdered 84 innocent people during the Nice attack, had links to any terrorist group, it has been confirmed that he never went to a mosque, loved women, drank alcohol, and ate pork.

Trump has made it acceptable to put out inaccurate and unfounded information, so Mr. Flynn was just following the current leader of the GOP.
